The Queer Guide

Therapist · Writer · Speaker

Becoming, in public and in private.

I am [CLIENT NAME], a therapist and writer exploring how people change: in the consulting room, on the page, and in conversation. This is where that work lives.

The work in one breath

My work sits where psychology meets storytelling. The questions are the same everywhere: what shaped us, what we want, and what it would take to live more honestly.

Some of that happens quietly, one hour at a time. Some of it happens out loud, in essays and on stages. It is all the same inquiry.

What I do

Three ways this work takes shape

01

Therapy

One-to-one therapy for adults navigating identity, relationships, grief, and change. A steady, collaborative space that takes both feeling and context seriously.

02

Writing

Essays and a book in progress about selfhood, belonging, and the families we are born into and the ones we build.

03

Speaking

Keynotes, panels, and workshops that bring a therapist’s attention to public conversations about mental health and human experience.

Speaking

Bring a deeper conversation to your next gathering.

I speak with audiences about the things we usually keep private: how we form a self, how we carry what happened to us, and how change actually happens. Talks are calm, candid, and built for the room in front of me.

About

A therapist who writes, and a writer who listens for a living.

I trained as a therapist and never stopped being a writer. Both are ways of paying close attention. My work is shaped by [PROFESSIONAL APPROACH OR MODALITY] and a belief that people are not problems to be solved.

“We are not here to fix ourselves. We are here to know ourselves well enough to choose.”

An idea I keep returning to

We do not heal by becoming someone new. We heal by becoming less afraid of who we already are.

From an essay in progress.
